Spring Fever

I love the Spring; my allergies hate it! Thank god for meds! I have missed you guys. I was out of town last weekend, and will be out of town this weekend as well. My training is going well. It has taken a lot to adjust to the dark mornings, but I would sacrifice seeing a beautiful sunrise in a heartbeat for the longer days. There is a little bunny in myneighborhood that I see most mornings when I am wogging, and I think he is the cutest little thing. My two older boys play baseball, and their season starts next week. That always makes our lives a little crazy, but we wouldn't trade it for the world!!!!!! I love reading the blogs. All of you are so encouraging! It definitely helps when you have so many people with the same goal, working our plan together. Can't wait to see you guys next weekend.

Wogging Along

Saturday's wog was great! It is so inspiring to see to many of us training for Chicago. I have done well with my schedule this week, but Xtraining has to be the area that I focus on improving. I have to start to incorporate weight training, immediately. I don't know why I am not motivated to Xtrain. I just have to do it! This morning is so pretty, and the temperature is perfect! I was definitely not at my best; I felt sluggish. I know why--it was all of the junk that I ate yesterday. I listened to my body, and it threatened me NOT to eat like that again! I was craving something, and I have no idea what it was, but I did not eat like a marathoner! I ate like a couch potato!!! Today is a new day, and I am back to thinking and doing the things that marathoners do! I love this weather, and will love the time change even more! I love reading all of the blogs and the message board. In fact, I am going to pick up a copy of Runner's World today. Well, gotta run! See you Saturday marathoners!

I have to do better on the blog!!!!!!

I did not realize that it has been two weeks plus since I have blogged! I usually blog at night, and now I am falling asleep so easily that I have forgotten about blogging. I have been working out though. I have fully recovered from the flu, and I feel great! The hardest part for me has been Xtraining. I am so tempted to just walk on those days, but I know that we really do need a break from the pounding!!!!!! I'm excited about tomorrow's meeting and run. My energy level has really increased, and I really do feel great! I keep saying "I am a marathoner," and I do seem to make better food choices." This training is so helpful in our lives overall--if we can run a marathon, we can do ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone is doing well, and I'll see you guys tomorrow morning.
